| Dear Friends of YOM Summer Missions Teams, “The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are we are glad” (Psalm 126:3). The Lord gave us another exciting, safe, and fruitful summer! Through your prayers and sacrificial gifts, many souls were saved and many missionaries and national believers were assisted and encouraged. |
| This summer, there were eleven teams which ministered in ten countries on five continents. The 148 short-term missionaries you supported ministered in a variety of contexts to over 13,000 people with 559 known salvation decisions. To God alone be the glory! Some individuals planted the seeds of the gospel, some watered, and God gave the increase through a variety of venues. This summer’s activities included, but were not limited to, church and Sunday school services, vacation Bible schools, holiday Bible clubs, ESL (English as a Second Language) classes in both public and private schools, public school evangelistic presentations, neighborhood Bible clubs, youth rallies, sports camps, open-air meetings, orphanage ministry, prison ministry, nursing home ministry, letter boxing, and medical clinics. Many hundreds of tracts were distributed, as well as thousands of copies of John and Romans booklets. |
While we do know some attendance numbers at the various events, only eternity will reveal all that was actually accomplished. We are grateful to you for co-laboring with us. You will certainly share in the eternal rewards of the labor. You have interceded for us. May I request that you now thank God with us for His grace and faithfulness toward us. Please pray that He will continue to send forth laborers. May He bless you in the coming year.
