Ministry Opportunities
During your two-week missions trip to the Philippines, you’ll have the opportunity to share Christ’s love in many exciting ways. Our three goals are to win souls for Christ, support missionaries in their established ministries, and help each team member develop a love for missions. You’ll work alongside several veteran missionaries throughout the Philippines and participate in a variety of ministry opportunities, including Bible clubs, VBS programs, youth rallies and camps, visitation, and many other areas of service.
Music Ministry
The purpose is to offer evangelistic concerts in Barcelona and nearby cities, as well as in Marseille and Tuscany. In 2025, we did a similar mission trip with great success. Music is a powerful evangelistic tool to share the Gospel with European audiences.
Our team will visit St. Gaudens to have an evangelistic concert there working with Pastor Price and his church.
Children's Club
Much like a VBS in the United States, we will have the opportunity to work with the children of the church and community. We will learn a few songs to teach the children. Despite the language barrier, we are able to assist Dave with crafts, games, and even Scripture memory.
Literature Distribution
We will take advantage of the route of the Tour de France. People gather from all over Europe to see the race go through the various towns, providing an excellent opportunity to get the gospel in the hands of thousands. Since the route changes a little each year, we are able to get this information to new people each summer.
Camp Ebenezer
Hebron Valley Baptist Church organizes several annual camps throughout the year for families and young people.
We also hold the "Intensive Bible Institute at Eben-Ezer," which meets quarterly for intensive studies in the Word of God.
Church Ministries
We will be encouraging the church by coming alongside the Valcarcels, Prices, and Maietta and the church members to help in their existing ministries.

Teddy & Ligaya Fulfer
Subic Bay/Olongapo, Philippines

Rodrigo & Annalisa Valbuena
Subic Bay/Olongapo, Philippines
Rodrigo and Annalisa Valbuena work alongside the Fulfers in service at the Subic Bay Baptist Ministries. Their ministry continues through church planting, feeding centers, youth outreach, and other opportunities to share the gospel. Their latest update shares that eight pioneering churches continue to grow, and their 2025 Youth Camp ministered to more than 200 young people, with many making decisions to trust Christ and dedicate their lives to serving Him.
They have four children, Hannah, Tim, Sam, and Elizabeth, and are thankful to see them faithfully serving the Lord with their lives.
Arvin & Dr. Ruth Tulabot
Quezon City (Manila), Philippines
The Tulabot’s primary mission is to help win souls and establish indigenous New Testament Baptist churches in the continent of Asia through the local churches. Arvin and Ruth have spent over twenty years on the mission field in the Philippines in various areas of ministry.
Ruth has received several degrees from PCC, including three degrees in education, which she uses in leadership in Tarlac Christian College in the Philippines. Together, she and Arvin have invested deeply in the education and nurturing of children in the Philippines, starting Bethesda Independent Baptist Church, Timothy Bible Institute, and Jesus Loves Me Children’s Home in Quezon City, Philippines.
Alvin & Omega Fulfer
Tarlac City, Philippines
Alvin and Omega Fulfer have been ministering in the Philippines for over 20 years and are joined by their 5 children: Vashti, Zede, Beth, Japet, and Simon. They spread the gospel of Christ through various programs that support the needs of their community. These ministries include Amazing Grace Baptist Ministries, CROSS TRAIL Baptist Ministries, and a free Christian Academy for the children of Bataan, Philippines.
Chris & Ivy Hurst

Chris and Ivy Hurst have faithfully served in the Philippines for over a decade. They have two children, Kaitlyn and Andrew, who are both PCC graduates. Chris also graduated from PCC in 2010 with an M.Div. Ivy is originally from the Philippines, and upon visiting, the Hursts felt the call to reach the Filipino people for Christ. Their focus is planting churches in underserved portions of the country. Their church, MetroView Baptist also founded a Christian school, MetroView Baptist Academy, where they present the gospel along with an investment in the education of their students.
the land
From 10,000 feet in the air, the Philippine islands look like an adventurer’s dream. From beautiful beaches and rich tropical terrain to the booming metropolis of Manila, both city-lovers and open-air enthusiasts can find a place to enjoy.
the people
Filipinos are naturally fun-loving, joyful people who love fellowship! And that’s a good thing since the tiny islands are filled with over 100 million people! Building relationships is an easy and enjoyable part of our ministry. The Filipino people are laid back, hospitable, generous, and kind. They will always make sure you have plenty to eat! As you develop relationships with them, you’ll find them easy to talk to and fun to be around.
the missions work
The YOM Philippines team ministers on Luzon, the most densely-populated Filipino island. Catholicism and the Iglesia ni Cristo are the predominant religions. The fact that many Catholics and Iglesia members identify as Christians can pose a challenge when Bible-believing Christians share the gospel. But through faithful, patient presentation of truth each year, the Lord has allowed us to see dozens of professions of salvation and many Christians encouraged in the faith.
Our teams have served at orphanages and churches in Subic Bay, Olongapo City, and Antipolo. We’ve ministered alongside the staff in feeding ministries, medical clinics, prison and police ministries, tract distribution, hospital evangelism, and community outreach basketball clinics depending on the abilities our team members bring.
