Ministry Opportunities
The Greece/Israel team will support local missionaries and ministries through a variety of outreach and service opportunities. In Greece, the team may assist with community projects for refugees and those in need, teach in a Christian school for Roma children, distribute gospel literature, and participate in youth outreach. In Israel, opportunities may include helping prepare and distribute aid packages and Christian literature through Project Nehemiah, supporting local churches, assisting with outreach and tract distribution, and participating in youth activities with local Christian groups.
Music Ministry
The purpose is to offer evangelistic concerts in Barcelona and nearby cities, as well as in Marseille and Tuscany. In 2025, we did a similar mission trip with great success. Music is a powerful evangelistic tool to share the Gospel with European audiences.
Our team will visit St. Gaudens to have an evangelistic concert there working with Pastor Price and his church.
Children's Club
Much like a VBS in the United States, we will have the opportunity to work with the children of the church and community. We will learn a few songs to teach the children. Despite the language barrier, we are able to assist Dave with crafts, games, and even Scripture memory.
Literature Distribution
We will take advantage of the route of the Tour de France. People gather from all over Europe to see the race go through the various towns, providing an excellent opportunity to get the gospel in the hands of thousands. Since the route changes a little each year, we are able to get this information to new people each summer.
Camp Ebenezer
Hebron Valley Baptist Church organizes several annual camps throughout the year for families and young people.
We also hold the "Intensive Bible Institute at Eben-Ezer," which meets quarterly for intensive studies in the Word of God.
Church Ministries
We will be encouraging the church by coming alongside the Valcarcels, Prices, and Maietta and the church members to help in their existing ministries.

Allen & Hagit Lord
Tel Aviv, Israel
Allen and Hagit Lord have been serving as missionaries in Israel amidst ongoing tension and uncertainty. Despite recent conflict, including nearby missile activity and damage close to their home, they are thankful for a temporary ceasefire that has allowed them to resume portions of their regular ministry. Through it all, they are trusting in God’s sustaining grace and strength during difficult days.
Their church, Grace Baptist, continues to be a faithful light in a difficult area, reaching a diverse community with many needs. In addition, they are ministering to Jewish families immigrating to Israel, helping dozens of new arrivals as they begin their lives in a new country.

Daniel pastors Messiah Baptist Temple and acts as the Director of Project Nehemiah, assisting the reintegration of Jews in Israel while strengthening relations between Jews and Christians. Rachel is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College and has been serving alongside her husband on the mission field for over a decade.
the missions Field
Greece and Israel are important mission fields because proselytizing is severely restricted by the Greek Orthodox Church and by Israeli law and customs. Our goal is to learn about how Christians in Greece and Israel share the Gospel and explore ways how we can support their efforts in the propagation of the Gospel there. In case the visit to Israel may be deemed unsafe by US authorities at the time of the trip, our team will remain in Greece for the duration of the trip.

the land
Italy is a unitary parliamentary republic in South-Central Europe, located primarily upon the Italian Peninsula. It is where Ancient Rome originated as a small agricultural community about the 8th century BC, which spread over the course of centuries into the colossal Roman empire, encompassing the whole Mediterranean Basin and spreading Roman culture and civilization across the empire. This civilization was so influential that parts of it survive in modern law, administration, philosophy and arts, providing the groundwork that the Western world is based upon.
the people
Most Italians identify with Christianity, with roughly 80% identifying as Christians. The majority of Christians in Italy identify as Catholics, with 83.3% of Italians identifying as Catholics. Around 20% of Italians are unaffiliated with any religion1. Less than 1% of Italians identify as Muslim or some other non-Christian faith. There are also several religious minorities in the country, including Protestants, Jews, Jehovah’s Witnesses and Muslims.
the missions work
In Italy, our primary goal is to work with Missionary Frank Maietta and Missionary Fernando Justiniani. We plan to assist with the distribution of literature and invitations to the church in surrounding cities. We also will offer English Immersion Workshops in the evenings as an outreach for the church.
